The first step in getting prpare is to prepare the home to where you can survive for a least 72 hours,but things are happening so fast around the country I have to decided to skip that section for a later date and start with the bug out bag (b.o.b) The bug out bag is very important part of your plan,why? Because you may have to leave your home at a moment notice for many reasons. Example if there is a sudden gas leak in your area,mad slide,floods,earthquake,you name it,it can happen. Everyone in your family should have a b.o.b.it should be as light weight as possible but of good material if possible. Here is a list of things you should have in your b.o.b.although this will depend on what each family feels they need.
